The Grille at Morrison House: A Tasteful Study of Contrasts
The Grille at Morrison House is a Federal-style mansion situated in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, surrounded by history and grace, and within walking distance of the area's charming antique stores, art galleries, boutique shops, restaurants and museums. Morrison House itself is a AAA Four Diamond property and was named to Condé Nast Traveler's 2008 Gold List.
But what's inside is where it counts.
The Grille elegantly blends the best of the past with today's freshest tastes. A place "where antique meets modern," where a spectacular collection of art and elegant period furnishings complements Chef Dennis Marron's contemporary interpretations of French and American cuisine. Where classic teas and special occasions provide the foundation for some of Chef Marron's most imaginative creations. The Grille's contrasts make it an extraordinary place to enjoy a meal, share a libation and relax in fine style.
You'll find two distinct spaces here: The Dining Room is classically appointed in summery hues, plush furnishings and tall windows. Further down the hall, The Grille is flavored more along the lines of an American bistro, adorned in rich, red leathers, deep wood tones and its own piano bar.
We look forward to introducing you - and welcoming you back - to this wonderful blend of yesterday and tomorrow. We look forward to seeing you at The Grille.
