Executive Chef McPherson of The Grille
Chef Brian McPherson joined Jackson 20 and The Grille in January 2012 and is executive chef at both restaurants. He is entrenching himself into the Old Town community, building closer relationships with the Alexandria Farmers' Market and other local Virginia farmers. The dishes at The Grille are comprised of seasonal ingredients, and McPherson plans to source from many local Virginia producers such as Steve Turnage of Weaving Run Farm and Northern Neck Fruits & Vegetables, Polyface Farms, and Bev Eggleston of Eco-Friendly Foods, among others. While The Grille at Morrison House will continue to embrace sophisticated French food, Chef McPherson will infuse his own signature cooking style: "simple food done well."
